when their cars conk out, will they need to just press CTRL-ALT-DEL? tongue.gif
or when a non-driver gets in the driver seat, can he just press F1 for help? lolz! at least, they have found uses for old keyboards instead of them filling up garbage landfills. good for the environment. tongue.gif

Could take you a while to find them, and it would be difficult to push them all at once!! tongue.gif

This reminds me of the stuff on 'What If Microsoft Built Cars?'.
My favourite was always "The airbags would say 'Are You Sure?' before deploying".

It's not really good for the environment as they are not replacting anything, just being added on, so they will still end up dumped when the car is too old to work any more.

ei, don't forget that it's geeks who own these cars! tongue.gif and they are a sentimental bunch. so even if they own millions already, they will still have these "babies" tucked in somewhere. maybe even in an air conditioned room or cave (like batman!). tongue.gif

That's pretty cool. It seems like they'd fall off a lot, though.

Yea, I was wondering about how well they'd stay on the cars too... mind you, I can see them falling off (or people even taking them off just for the fun of it). It's an interesting concept though. Like art-cars. Maybe they should get displayed in some kind of art exhibit after the cars finally break down. That would keep them out of the garbage for the time being at least.

Then again, by the time that the cars broke down for good, the keys might not all be there anymore, so it probably wouldn't look as good anymore laugh.gif

I wonder if there's a company that does that, or if it's just a bunch of people that have done it themselves. I was thinking a company, because I couldn't imagine putting them all on there myself, but I suppose someone had to. Plus, where on earth do you get that many keyboards? Plus, the keyboards seem to come in all sorts of colours that I didn't expect. I thought they were mostly just generic colours.

And what would have happened if they ran out of the 'homer' colour before the picture was done? It would look kind of silly to use a similar (but still different colour) to finish it off, so I guess they really have to plan out which colours are used where and be sure that they have enough of the needed colours before starting.

Anyway, that was interesting, and something that I didn't really expect to see lol... when I clicked in here I though it would be that they used the plastic from the keyboards and melted them down to car parts or something, but this was much more entertaining!
