Thanks, I am sure that some of the members will find these useful. I already have all of these except the freeram program; I have a gig of ram so I don't really need to free up any space as I have lots of it. Oh, and by the way, it's Norton, not Nortan.

The freeram program unfragments the ram. It compresses it so it can be accessed faster and so the computer knows where the programs are in the ram with just one access. And actually more ram can make the computer slower if the programs are rapidly closed and opened as it can leave traces of ram being blocked until the next reboot. So even if you have a lot of ram it is still good to have this program. It is even fully customizable to free, compress and defragment your RAM when it reaches a low level or automaticly free the ram at a time.

excellent list of pages buddy thought most of the programs and problems can be avoided by using in a very posotive and careful way your pc.

I know most of the fault belongs to Microsoft but we aren't sometimes very conscious about the risk it invloves to enter to some oages or even installing some trash programs.

The Software in the your list will give maximum Virus Protection for your PC. But I would prefer Webroot SpySweeper & Registry Mechanic

Registry Mechanic is a really good tool for increase perfomance & Protection for the Computer Registries..It repairs Registry Problems with no porblem!!

Webroots Spysweeper is good for SpyCookies & other Virus Stuffs..It is the best one I think..as far as I used..I have Used alot other Programs that are really waste!

I have a gig of RAM, so I figured I didn't need a program to free up my RAM, either. Thanks for the info. I didn't know it could get tied up until the next reboot. I got the program, and I'll try it. I tried several RAM freeing programs on my old pc with Win 98, and they would keep locking up on me. So I had given up on these kind of programs.

I know I have registry Mechanic somewhere, I'll have to get around to installing it and actually using it.
