Julius Caesar
Have you guys heard of the play Julius Caesar by Shakespeare?

This year our school forced us to read mythology, animal farm and Julius Caesar, I think that Julius Caesar is the most interesting story of all because animal farm is all about this random revolution lol, I’m not interested in politics.

Those who have read it, how was it? Do you think its interesting? Why or why not?

I thought it was interseting, but not Shakespeare's best. My favorite by far was Hamlet, due to the complexity of the story and characters. This could be due to the way the plays were taught at school though; my teacher who went over Julius Caesar with us really kept banging it into our heads, whereas my teacher for Hamlet had us explore the themes and ideas of the play more on our own.

There's also a little "politics" in Julius Caesar - the part
where he and Cleopatra used each other for powers.
He brought her protection, she brought her crops, etc

I prefer Julius Caesar too although Animal Farm ain't
all that bad.
