I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between Mambo and Joomla CMSs, I currently have Joomla installed on one of my websites and all of the Mambo components work on it, why isn't it just called Jombo or Mamla? Are they the same company, what is the deal with all this?

They used to be. Joomla is the team who developed Mambo. They split from the Mambo foundation I believe cos they didn't like the way it was heading. You can read more about it here: http://news.com.com/Open-source+split+of+M...006.html?tag=nl
