I don't think that IPB uses these methods to detect illegally used forums.
IPB does have a built-in checking tool however: Just go to "index.php?ipscheck=1". This method can be used to find the registration number of any forum prior to version 2.1. The "ipscheck" variable is password protected for forum versions 2.1 and newer. |
