1. right click network places -> properties
2. right click ur dsl connection -> properties
3. pick options tab
4. uncheck "prompt me for name and password"

edit: then put it in startup folder

it all depends on you provider and the way the offer their service
my isp offers dsl "not in a dsl way"
it sounds fishy but it dials liek a dial-up but only for this numer : " * "

Well, I am on T1 LAN and it connects to the internet even before it is fully booted! A blessing after seeing your queries here.

no9t9, good answer here the second time. You get a reputation from me for helping a fellow member fast. smile.gif

D-Link is a good brand. Netgear is another decent brand.

The basic things that you will need to setup the network are the access point, which is built into the router, and some wireless access cards, which it looks like one was included in the setup that you were looking at.

A 4 port wireless router will also have 4 RJ45 jacks for the wired side, so you can connect the computers that are close with Cat 5e.

Thank You

Bye
