that was the same like me, when i needed to copy some pages into word.
but cause i didnt found the tricky tool for that, i just copy the text and paste it to word. editing would be the bad thing then, but i had to do it. |

Yeah you can just copy and paste text from PDF reader to Word or some other text procesor program... but there is many more solutions to that problem... There is some program called "GhostScript" - that is free interpreter for Postscript a.k.a. PDF.... you can download it for free from this official page of Ghostscript

In Adobe you can choose the TEXT SELECTION tool which allows you to copy text or even box certain text that you want. But this also depends on the person who created the PDF. The person who created the PDF has the option of LOCKING the text so that it cannot be copied out through cutting and pasting.

I was able to select the text but when i pasted it into word or any other program, it was one huge block of text without spaces. I've done cause i haven't been able to find anything that will do the trick but i have to say it was - one huge pain- inserting spaces between words.
no fun round |

do you do it in bulk? copying text from PDF then editing it would be the easiest, i suppose. or you can always do it the *harder* way: print PDF, scan print-out with OCR (optical character recognition), then format/edit the pages to suit your needs. haven't been in this situation, so i haven't searched for an app (if there is any) to do the trick the easy way.
