Is .htaccess Allowed ?

is mod rewrite allowed in trap17 server ?
coz i need to change my dynamic page into a static url . thx

i'm 99% sure you're allowed to use htaccess, thats a common function. Also there are multiple posts on this forum asking about uploading .htaccess files and modifying them and if it weren't allowed someone surely would have posted something saying that it wasn't allowed by now. just backup your current one to make sure you don't screw your hosting.

Mod rewrite is allowed, along with .htaccess. I use it to make dynamic pages look static and have a proper name in search engine results.
