As of this post I am trying to convert my current html website to a flash site. I use iframes in my html site and i am wondering if i can import html into a dynamic text box. I am wondering if i will need to redo the entire design in flash or if I can just import the html.
If anything is confusing, please tell. Thanks in advance for the help |

Most HTML tags wont work in a flash dynamic text box. Basic text formating and images will work. Colors, and frames will not work in dynamic text boxes. Sorry!
Also, images CANNOT be gif. I don't know why they haven't fixed this yet, but gif doesn't seem to be compatible with flash. Tables work but pretty much all the html has to be coded perfectly. <b><i>word</b></i> will leave the bold tag on. I'd recommend just redoing the entire site in flash. Flash is really powerful, and there is no real reason for doing it in flash if you are just going to have html control the site. :\ It's up to you though. I never thought flash was too great at HTML parsing, but if you can make it work, more power to you! |
