How to use file manager in cpanel to upload a file from another web source. As my college does not allow ftp acess. I tried once with a zip file it shows the size as one kb. is ther any other option...

No i dont think so... You can actually do it with frontpage, but only if you install the front page extensions

You can use the FTP tools like WS_FTP (i think it is the best) to upload them

The only other way I know is to use your cPanel click on the link that is called File Manager this way you have to do files 1 by 1 and it will take forever, but if you can't have FTP that's the only way..Sorry :cry: |

That way is very slow if his webs has more 100 pages , 1 and 1 and 1 and 1....it'll take you several hours.
Why don't you upload them in another place.You can burn your web in CD and take it to another computer which allow ftp |
