How to download any music (mp3), the legal way.

I am sure anyone likes to listen to music, with a very few exceptions.

Recently, i was looking for new technology to listen and even to download mp3 using the internet, when i found
what i consider the best program on the net, and freeware, to listen music, and at the same time, to be able to
download that particular music you are listening to your hard drive.

I guess you are thinking, "bs man, there isn't such program, and free, no way?!"

But there is, i was very surprised, i usually do not beleave what some of, or even most of the programs write
on their "product" description, but there are a lot that do not lie to us, but this program does exactly what it
says it does.

Many people get their music the illegal way, millions of people use p2p programs and free uploads services like
rapidshare and megaupload to search and download for music they like, like pop, rock, trance, country, hip-pop,
reggae, rap, techno, and so on.

Imagine you could have a program, a small and powerfull program that could download music of your own taste,
a program that you could listen to music you like, a program that does not take too much resources (1-2 MB of RAM, maximum),
a program that usually updates itself, wouldn't you try it at least?

I have discover a program like that, its name is screamer radio, and what it does it that, after you install it and open it,
you can listen to radio stations all over the world, and those stations are divided in categories.

You click in the menu presets, and then you can choose which kind of music you want to listen today, you can even
listen to radio stations from your country, i am from portugal, and we have a radio station called "rfm", among others
of course, but this one is the best, we can listen really great music, and with this program, you can listen to music like
if you were listening radio from your radio car, and you can record that music to your drive in mp3 (to a directory of your choice),
and with a very good quality, i know it for sure, i use it.

Besides you can listen to radio stations (you need an internet connection, broadband is recommended), you can also record
any music you are listening, to a single track (to a single mp3 file), or to different mp3 files, and the record quality is the greatest,
i know because i am using it like crazy!

You can add tyour favorite radio stations to the favorites menu, you can listen radio stations from all types/kinds of music,
just click on the presets menu and you have 4 categories/4 lists which have music by country, by network, by language,
by genre (trance, pop, rock, techno, ... ... ... ... all of them, you will not have problems finding good radios, they are all good),
i usually listen and download musics from the "FM - Trance - Radio", and RFM from portugal, but i still have this program for 2
days only, but i am really apreciated, it is the best!

Look people, just try it, it has no ads or whatever, no virus or stuff like that, i know for sure, you will thank me, i know it.

This sounds like an intriguing software but what I would like to know is how can we tune to a particular radio station and also each radio station differs from country to country. On top of that, we do not know which radio station is what in which country, so for me this is the limitation. The way of getting music here is still not legal, you are recording a song which does not have copyright licensed to you, so this is no different from downloading using p2p or any sharing service. You want music, go buy it! That is what I would suggest

You are absolutely right, I mean if we record music videos on the T.V. and then post it onto YouTube, isn't that considered to be copyright infringement sometimes too? Then even here we are doing the same thing, recording stuff and keeping it for ourselves without owning the copyright licenses to it.

Darran, you know which radio station you are connected too, you can choose from radio stations from your country, like mine (Portugal - RFM).

I just "love" to hear from people that i should buy music, when i know millions of people, hidden behind their computer, download mp3 all the time, that just get on my nerves "big time"!

Concerning the law, if it is legal or not, yes it is legal, you can also record musics you hear on your on your car or home radio, or even on your wi-fi stereo, so there's no logic what you are both saying!!!

You have the right to record music, and use it for your self, but not for comercial use, that is what is illegal, you are both talking about things you have no clue!

wouldn't the law covering this be that you *can* record it or make a copy, same thing i know, as long as you don't distribute it in *any* way. I know that's how CD copyright works here in the UK, and software, you can make a copy for yourself as a backup but if it changes hands its against the law.

I probably wont get this software though, im not a radio fan, i prefer my CD's smile.gif still an interesting find and ill probably try it one day when im bored!

well, this is called RIPing of music and it is just as illegal as any other way of reproducing music without copy-right. The sole word tells you that you NEED THE RIGHT TO COPY it and it is the same here.

Of course it very hard to tracks someone down using this rip-method but it is still illegal and you should change the topic title..

You are right when you say that we can record stuff for our own use and it's not allowed for commercial use but this law applies only when the original thing from where you are recording is owned by you, we don't own the radio stations so we cannot even rip for our own purpose.

And we DO have a clue of the stuff we speak about.

I am sorry, i was somewhat rude.

Back to the topic, you can record songs when you are listening to radios, online radios or "normal" radios, you can because you have the right to record it to listen later alone or with your family/friends.

Wi-fi stereos even come with cd's and other devices that can record from radio stations, so if it was illegal, those wi-fi stereos would not be aproved to be selled, as well as car radios which also have recording devices.

Every music you hear on radio stations, televisions and others, you have the right to record all of it, do you still remember the video cassettes? They also can record videos from tv and other stuff you might want to record for late review.

You have the right to record and listen with your family too, not only alone.

What you have no right is to use it for comercial purposes, i mean, you can not sell it or use it on comercial companies because that would be against the law because you have no license to use it on your business.

This is not like you insert the original cd of a singer and rip it like heavensounds is talking about, that you can not do because you would bypass the cd protection, and that is illegal, but in this case, you are listening to radio, you can record it, you have that right.
