For long i have been on the search for the best website for my homepage.... So my search ended after a tiring search.
Recently one of my suggested this website. http://www.homepagestartup.com/. Previously i was using igoogle as my homepage... But the purpose was different, bu my requirement was to go to specific pages so quickly and comfortably.... This homepagestartup does exactly that. Also the interface is just awesome. Well its a descent idea however, del.icio.us is a better version of this concept of bookmarking your websites on the internet and not on your computer. I see various ajax and php scripts running this site but again del.icio.us is the better version or at least the more popular version of this concept.

Oh, I have seen that feature in the Opera browser
 Anyway, you could put a "favourite buttons" in the favourite bar in both Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 2. Then you could keep the Google for start page

This is a default feature in Opera from version 9.23+
It is called as Speed dial in Opera, by default it is set as the home page. I'd say that this would be more efficient than using an online service for it

Homepage is usefull if you have one user on a computer. But if you have more users, and they sometimes have same account on your windows computer than it good to set google homepage, so that you never force someone to visit site you are often on in your internet. I always use google, but now i improve and use google suggest labs, beacouse my english bad and they help with choose right word, and have list of how many answers you will get.

I use iGoogle as my startpage.
It's simply a "portal" - You use your google account (GMail f.ex) - Log in - Set up your site(s) and it'll be remember every time no matter where you are in the world. http://www.google.com/ig Have fun, and enjoy google's simple and yet intuitive service :] |
