I need help with my webhosting. Whenever I access http://portal.trap17.com, this comes up:
QUOTE

Welcome to your Hosting Account!

This site is currently Hosted at trap17.com

If you are seeing this message then it means that your site is up and your account is functioning properly.

Please see to it that you do the following steps before you continue :-

1. Login to your cpanel by typing, http://yoursite.com/cpanel.
2. Enter the userID and Password. (check your PM at the Forums or your requested post)
3. Change the Email address in your Cpanel. (used to recover your password incase you lose it)
4. Change the Password in your Cpanel.

I have logged into cPanel, changed the Email address and password. Uploading the index.html and other files to the server, I have replaced the old page. I have cleared the cache, forms, etc and it still says the above message. Can I get some help here? My files are on the server.

EDIT: Problem now detected. index.html file is in the public_html directory. Does every file need to be in that directory?

Your site seems to be working fine and stuff. Anything that you want avaliable on the web needs to be in the WWW or Public_HTML folders (they are both the same folders).

Index.php or Index.html is a file that is the homepage when people will see when they visit portal.trap17.com Otherwise its a folder view of other stuff, but your index page is working fine.

Your site seems to be working fine to me and stuff. Good luck. smile.gif
