Is there a function or a group of functions which I can use to delete all the files an folders in a directory? I've tried rmdir() but it complains that it can't remove it because there are files/folders in it.

Try using FileMenager under your cPanel.

I know cPanel can do that, but I would like a function which I can use in my php scripts, rather than having to delete it manually each time.
