Did the domain registrar say that they weren't responding or did it say that your website wasn't responding after you put them in?
If your website says that when you try and go there, then it could be two things: 1. Sometimes it takes a while for DNS to update, sometimes a couple of days. 2. You need to do to is go to your control panel, look in parked domains under your site management tools, and then add the domain name that you just registered. I had the problem with number two once, I ended up waiting like a week thinking that the DNS needed to update <.< |

QUOTE(john_meikle @ Jul 3 2005, 04:39 AM) what domain registry do you use? usually you can just register the domain, then you can add/edit the nameservers later depending on where you are hosted. the nameservers you gave should work. then park your domain in your control panel later as rejected said. |

I met that problem already. When I sumited "NS1.TRAP17.COM & NS2.TRAP17.COM", it said that NS2.TRAP17.COM was not avaliable.
Not avaliable, what does it means? Isn't it a real domain name? Or it's down? All I could do is to sumit it over and over. Finally, it's done. Did I resolve it? No. Why does it happen? No advise. I Just can say you must be lucky. |
