I have a hard drive that has 160GB of space. One half of the hard drive has XP Pro. I would like the other half partition for Windows Vista.
what are the steps to do this? Thanks and hello to everyone!!!!! |

This website has a very good in depth guideline on how to dual boot XP and vista with either xp installed first or vista installed first. They have some guides on how to dual boot with linux on your computer as well.

i think installing windows is too easy. go to Bios and set the boot device as CD/DVD. put your installer cd in your cd/dvd-rom and wait for your computer to boot the cd. after booting the cd, there will be instructions on where you should install the windows and partition tool.
