Hey I came across this pretty interesting piece of software that I think people would be interested in.
The software is called Group Shot. --- When you take photos, you will often take many photos. However, there is usually not one single photo where everyone is smiling and looking good... there might be, but since there are so many different photos, there must be better ones. Did you notice that whenever you’re taking pictures of people in a group that there’s always at least one person who’s squinting, frowning, or looking away even when you’ve finally managed to get all the other people in the picture flash perfect Groupshot? This is where Group Shot comes in. It actually gives you the ability to choose what you want to use from all the different group photos, and it can merge all of them together. Group Shot is from Microsoft Research and it can take a number of pictures and semi-automatically merge the good parts to construct a perfect output image. It's pretty interesting. You could probably even merge other photos that aren't necessarily people... photos like scenery or something. --- Here it is from Microsoft Research Group: http://research.microsoft.com/projects/GroupShot/ |
