Google PageRank if your Google's way of ranking a site--how important it is. It depends on how many sites link to you and what not. If you Google PageRank is high, then it will higher in a Google search than other sites.

So how does this Google rank work? Is it the amount of veiwers, amount of Data on the webserver... ? Or how long the site existed. Before joining any Affiliate group, I want to know how this google rank works. ATM, my last site had a rank of 7/10 because it was a News and Information Database with visual and modified search to find the articles you are looking for.

I always thought it was the amount of people who go on it but im not so sure.

I think it works seperately from Googles as the page rank it calculates depends on how many times the button is accessed. It does not affect the real google pagerank. That's what I think.

my site http://www.mariocircuit.com has a page rank of 2, it went up from 0 at the last page rank update, and it should gohigher soon as a text link for it will soon be added to about 15 PR 3/4 pages which hopefully will increase my sites PR by the next update.
