My computer is running Fedora Core 2 and I'm trying to get GmailFS (richard.jones.name/google-hacks/gmail-filesystem/gmail-filesystem.html) set up, and I'm pretty sure I'm doing what I'm supposed to. When I enter

mount -t gmailfs /usr/local/bin/gmailfs.py /mnt/gmailfs -o username=myname,password=mypasswd,fsname=myfsname

I get the error

mount: fs type gmailfs not supported by kernel

Is there something I might have done wrong while setting up GmailFS that would cause this error, or is my kernel outdated?
