In case you don't know what it is, and you use the gmail free email server, this litle tool creates a drive next to the drive c in the windows O.S. wich allows you to enter your username and password to remotly connect to your gmail account, wich also allows you to open the drive and send files to your gmail account like if your were uploading files directly.

Well, visit the home page to see what i'm talking about.

It looks cool, I might have to try it out.
By the way, your second link is broken. The "http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm" link.

One question though, is there a file size limit? Like when sending e-mails you have a 10 mb limit, does that apply to this too? The only way I could see that it wouldn't is if they made it so that it sent multiple e-mails containing portions of a larger file. But I don't know. If someone knows please let me know.

Thanks, xJedix

It really, really WORKS.
Read the help file and/or in the website.

If it doesn't work it's because of windows O.S. errors.
Run a tool to optimize your operative system like tuneup utilities or anyother that can optimize your computer.

I will have to try that. If it does work it would be very cool to store files on Gmail. Then I would have a use for my invitations. I could have an address just for files.

I've planed to post about this application for a while, but you beat me tongue.gif
Anyway, this is a good application addition for Gmail lover, it acts like drive on your my computer folder, so you can send file to your gmail account without you have to login.
With this app, I've posted my favourite mp3, and download it back when I'm at library or school computer and listen it with my headset tongue.gif

I will try it later. I hope that it will work this time, because I use a Firewall. I must add that program manually in to my Allowed List... smile.gif

If someone is experienced at programming, or whatever this project entales, please do tell me how complicated this is to se up...i will give it a try later though...thanks for the link though
