okay I've quite unclear about Trap17.net usage..
Here are my questions.. 1) Can I have both, 1 account on Trap17.com and 1 account on Trap17.net ? 2) Is there a system/software in the server to transfer/copy files from Trap17.com hosting account to Trap17.net, or I have to reupload it manually again? 3) What are the features in Trap17.net ? 4) What are all the differences between Trap17.com and Trap17.net ? 5) If my account on Trap17.com has ceased, will my account on Trap17.net still function ? Hope to get all these cleared because I'm going for a long camp, about 2 years, totally without Internet access.. Trap17.net will then be ideal to me since I want to stick with Trap17 networks.. Please reply soon the details.. thanks.. |

QUOTE(Inspiron @ Dec 10 2005, 01:16 AM) 1) Can I have both, 1 account on Trap17.com and 1 account on Trap17.net ? Yes. But it is up to each of us not to abuse Trap17's service. You know what I mean QUOTE 2) Is there a system/software in the server to transfer/copy files from Trap17.com hosting account to Trap17.net, or I have to reupload it manually again? You have to upload it manually. QUOTE 3) What are the features in Trap17.net ? Features in Trap17.net is very limited. I have made a demo page for Trap17.net which can be found as the pinned topic in this forum section. QUOTE 4) What are all the differences between Trap17.com and Trap17.net ? Trap17.net is ad supported, limited abilities with xPanel and have file size limits. QUOTE 5) If my account on Trap17.com has ceased, will my account on Trap17.net still function ? No. Trap17.net is ad supported, no posting required instant hosting service. Trap17.net is independent from Trap17.com service, therefore one will not affect the other. i think 1 trap17.net account is enough though limited with you can do having several accounts is not fair to the other members.
the file size limit is 500k the amount of space you have is 333mb of space 3.3g of bw. 333mb for ad supported? thats alot of space for ad supported? |

You are allowed one trap17.com, one trap17.net and one astahost.com account. That's 633MB of free space and 13,333MB b/w.
BuffaloHELP is correct in saying that trap17.net offers xPanel. |

mmm... but i'd prefer the .com one firstly you get a great hosting service, a great comunity and you have a good amount of features.
Sure the have to post thing can get a bit too much but you get great options and a nice layout etc. it's worth it and it's like a support center for anything. the .net one is OK but i hate ads that don't work for me |

The xPanel looks crappy.. LoL
I'm rather have the file size limit to 2MB per file and a lower total storage space. Who will use to much space anyway. The size of file is more important.. |
