Most good web-editors, like dreamweaver and such aren't free to use so did a small research on the best free wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) editors and listed them below:
Ordered them by what I think are the best.
(Note: most are only trials dry.gif )

-Cutesitebuilder (my favourite)

-Java Gui Builder 1.0

download here

-WYSIWYG Web Builder 2.7.2

download here

-Web Weaver EZ 2.06
read here
download here

-MoreMotion Web Express 3.3 (no limitations)

download here

-JXHTMLEdit 4

There are many more, but these are in my experience the best free ones.
I hope it's of some use wink.gif

If I was making such a list I'd have to put Nvu at the very top. Not only is it a very complete WYSIWYG web authoring system but it also has a builtin FTP client so you can update your site on-the-fly as well as a spell-check feature. It runs on Linux, Windows and Mac OSX. You should definitely check it out. Oh, I forgot, it's completely free.

Thanks for the list of very good wysiwyg editors, they seem very good, i don't use them and i'll never will, but i apreciate the work you had doing this, i think that's what counts more.

Nvu looks real cool, though I will never use it... WYSIWYG is against my religion tongue.gif
I use ZDE - it's has a good PHP syntax checker and is context-sensitive, so I am happy smile.gif . No good for javascript, though - even if it does have text highlighting, there is no syntax checker. The only real disadvantage is that it is not free for other than trial.
