Just thought I'd bring your attention to http://www.mailnation.net.
They're offering 1000 GB free of charge! That's right ONE TERRABYTE of mailspace. I'm still working on filling my yahoo space, but just maybe someone else will have use for it. |

Once again an email that is way to big for regular needs. Why in the world would you need a 1000GB mailbox for stuff. The maximum file size you can attach to an email is 10mb and you would have to pay to be able to attach 50mb. It would be nice to have but I don't really think you need that much space. They are really just waiting for you to buy the upgrades to make money. They are using the 1000gb mail box as their way to atleast get you to sign up.

Urg, this is just insane. 1000gb mail? I thought 30gb was just excessive and overkill.
Im at like 1% on my Gmail, and 7% on my Hotmail. 1000GB... But yeah, like Plenoptic mentioned, this is just to try and get you to sign up. |

I'm using 0% of my Gmail storage. I don't see a pressing need for tons of storage. I probably will never use up all of my Hotmail storage either.

These companies don't actually have the storage space. With the number of GMail users there are at the moment it would take thousands of terrabytes of space, which they don't have reserved for GMail users. These companies just use it as a gimick to get people to sign up, and it works! I'm gonna try and get an account for the fun of it.

rvalkass is right. They offer that much space hoping that nobody will ever get to an amount greater than what they actually have. If people use too much space, then their host will get mad and they'll have to shut down =O
