Can someone please tell me which of the free forum scripts is the best and why? I like these forums but i notice the script is not free lol ;-)

Personally I prefer MyBB which is My Bulletin Board. It is rather similar to this one (Invision Power Board) but is free. I don't know though how many modifications are out for it because I never really looked into it though. As for a second place, PHPBB is definately a good board. They have lots of styles nad modifications but I really don't prefer the administrator panel. To check them out further check these links

i say phpbb, it's the only one i have ever used and is my favorite.. you can donwload many styles at the site so.

And phpbb3 is now downloadable in Beta with some pretty serious changes to the scripts. Apparently a Major Overhaul, especially in the Admin Panel.

I think i like the sound of the myBB.. You see i create wap/mobile sites mainly not web sites. I use a mobile version of opera to browse the web alot (like now) and phpBB is nasty an slow for my device. This forum is ok. So im pretty sure i will go for myBB. I need it for more advanced members of my wap site to post snippets etc as doing this on wap or in wap chat/forums often causes many errors even after its been filtered. Thanks for the advice ;-)

I just installed phpbb an agree it is good.. I wanna look now make sure i made the right choice with mybb (still think i have). What about punbb? That don't look to bad.
