I was surfing this website and I found a free PHP/MySQL guestbook.

http://www.epistream.com/ipei/index.php

By the way, this is my one hundredth post! YAY FOR ME!!!!!! *opens champagne but then realizes that talking about intoxicating substances on Trap17 is a federal offense and braces herself for the FBI to barge into her bedroom door with handcuffs and nightsticks at the ready*

There are many other free PHP guestbooks around. Some even don't use MySQL or other database. They store them as plain text files.

Try these to expand your guestbook choices..

I have downloaded this one, now if I can figure out how to use it, that will be a wonder. In the mean time I am using my one through Bravenet. Is there a tutorial on here somewhere that tells you how to use these things?
Maybe someone could post a tutorial on how to set them up.

I quite like the design of the guestbook - simple, clean and it looks a bit like the Mac OS. Thanks for the link! I'll bookmark it/post it to my delicious links. (Wait a mo...just did that!)

If you are trying to ask how to set up the scripts that I've provided in the links in my previous post, then the following should be the answer. There should be a readme file that comes either as a text file or a HTML file. Read it through to understand which part in the script you will need to configure to suit your preference. In many of my experiences, the readme file comes in the form of text document (*.txt), hence its very easy to open and read without much trouble. Also, you will need some basic PHP knowledge to edit the configuration files if you are really blur and don't know what is going on. Be sure to follow the readme carefully and not to edit other parts of the scripts as it can cause the entire script not to function as what it is supposed to. You will also need MySQL database knowledge if it deals with MySQL, as you would probably need to make and add the database table and columns yourself. Again as according to my experience, most scripts don't provide an SQL file to automatically create the database tables and column for you. Of course if they do provide, your life would be much easiler. You can also read up on their websites where you downloaded the scripts for more and specific help.

You can always post here again to enquire help regarding the detailed parts to edit in the scripts which I've provided in the links in my previous post, assuming you really don't know what is going on. If you would enquire, be sure to state which script you are refering to.
