Thanks Delivi for the information. But few months back there was a similar offer by Microsoft India of free CD for Windows Vista. They have asked some questions too. But I have not yet received the CD. Why is this so. Whether they are really distributing CDs or just want to take mail IDs..

I also did register for that Free Vista DVD but I didnt receive the DVD. I think because several forums posted the answers for the questions and you are supposed to get the Vista DVD when u answer all correct questions.

But previously I've received many CD's and DVD's from Microsoft and they'll send you if they've stocks allocated for India is left.

For Office System CD you do not fill any questions just give the mailing address.

This is the question I'm asking everyone I could for a long time.
Why Microsoft is not giving India, the worlds second most populus country and IT Major as much as preference as it gives to other nations.

Hello All,

just wondering why I've not had any info passed on to me from M$ re free copy of software to Australia,

Maybe I'm just out of the loop..... if anyone knows how i could get onto a mailing list regarding beta or evaluation copies of M$ software I've be very pleased to know about it.

It would be very nice to trial it before I go spending a fortune upgrading all my systems at the office to the new vista platform.

Anyhow let me know if there is any list or service that I can subscribe to, to make it happen.

Cheers ohmy.gif
