My favorite browser is Netscape 7.2. This Mozilla-based browser puts AIM and ICQ, email, newsgroups, and Web page editing under one roof. I got used to the steel look after some time, and the buddy list is always a click away (just hit F9 or click the sidebar button). It works with 95% of all Web sites I visited (otherwise I take a quick trip back to Micro$oft'$ dominating IE). The new version (8.0) trims down off email and Web authoring components, and adds little news buttons on a personal toolbar. Version 8 stinks on ice, but the classic 7.2 is the best.

I have installed netscape before but dit not actually like it's interface, maybe because at that time I am well inclined to IE, but when I used FF I love it better. I guess it would be on person to person basis, Opera do have their own free version too now and pretty much the same as FF. |
