Yeah I dont believe this for a second, there is some kind of catch invloved, or something that gives them a profit for shipping you an ipof for free. What is the catch? You'd have to sign up for some offer or something you know that right?

The catch is that you have to give your personal information (e-mail address, usually) to third parties. You have to sign up for a certain number of offers to get the free iPod, or video game system or whatever. The third parties then in turn bombard your inbox with junk. And in some cases, you have to actually BUY something from these companies in order to get your free stuff.
The giveaway sites are earning money off you through the advertising. The advertisers pay them when you sign up for offers, or buy something. So the giveaway sites make money, you get free stuff and the advertisers get business. |

I do believe you'll see many offers for free iPods and others like in the future.
The reason is that Sony just released full color screen that's flexible as a piece of paper. There's new technology coming to a play--flexible OLED as I mentioned earlier with NEC's release--and it's going to change the way we look at monitors/screens. Apple was just granted with over 10 patents that enables users to easily surf the web and do all kinds of things by the way of touch and drag motion. UMPC--Ultra Mobile PC--is going to change the way we look at a hardware very soon. However, be aware of these "give-a-way" deals for they can use your information against you; as posted earlier. |

Actually got my ipod by submitting my emails and submitting my zip code it only took me month and half I never used my credit card once I swear you. I made a gmail account for spam and used my zip code for offers . The problem is some of these advertisers only allow you to earn points thru one email. SO don't waste your time creating 100s of emails just do the dot plussing trick with gmail . Just put a dot anywhere in your gmaill addy and it will still count as the same email address. But the advertiser perceives This as a new address a new lead. Do it like this: yournamehere@gmail.com y.ournamehere@gmail.com you.n.ame.here@gmail.com y.o.u.r.n.a.m.e.h.e.r.e@gmail.com Just put a dot in random spots.Make a gmail account and see for yourself. Or google "gmail dot plus trick" once you earned your ipod remember who told you how As you know you can reach me thru pm or im AOL IM: afunguy26151 Yahoo IM:afunguy112 MSN IM: afunguy26 Thank you Darius This post has been edited by afunguy26: Sep 10 2007, 09:58 AM |

theres got to be some sort of cath, other than your email gettign bombarded with spamy crap. Maybe they put you on some list that eventualy gets a virus sent to you or somthing realy bad... But now they know your house address, that maybe bad because they may send you lots of useless flyers and other random pieces of mail. I hope none of htis happens to you but it may do...
