Hi:
Thanks for the list of galleries. When I am looking for free images, I seem to often get caught up into a viscous loop of clip art affiliates. Its horrible. I can never actually get to the free images. So once again, this list is appreciated. Sunkist |

well, that is quite nice! really great images of whatever theme you want to find... but I have a question:
What about the copyright? I still dont get how it works... can they suddenly start a legal process against you if you make profit on their images? Cheers!

Sonorama, I believe the purpose of these Free Images websites is to distribute photos without us worrying about those copyright things. Just like on the first link, Stock.Xchng http://www.sxc.hu, the members are distibuting their photgraphs to other members to use for any purposes like for advertising, websites and other media forms for free of charge. so go ahead! Download some pictures, and you can as well modify them using your favorite photo editiing tool, like Adobe Photoshop CS2.
