I know there's a lot of image hosting services out there, especially those meant for sharing picture albums. But if you're just looking to hotlink images for your site or share a few pics with others, xs.to is probably the best solution.

The image size limit is 1.5MB and all image file types are supported. You don't have to sign up or anything; just upload the file and you'll be given links you can post in forums or directly hotlink to. But if you want to keep track of your files, a User ID is provided so you can always login to your automatically created account.

I find this service extremely reliable and convenient. The images are hosted on linux servers, so they load really quickly. And I've yet to experience a dowtime with xs.to.

I hope this will be helpful to some of you out there!!! ^o^

What's wrong with imageshack?

Two questions, does xs.to allow .swf file types? Also, how long will your file stay on their server? Imageshack has a rule that your file will be deleted after it has been inactive for a year....

I like ImageShack's service too, but you have to register in order to keep track of all your uploaded images. And then there's that whole inactivity rule thing. Xs.to keeps your images on its servers until you decide to delete them yourself. But it doesn't support .swf files ... I never really considered that file type sad.gif

Boo! No .swf support! The reason why I asked is that I host games on my site, and they really eat up bandwidth. I really like the lack of an inactivity rule, so I might to decide to host some of my pictures there. Thanks for the link!

Don't worry, cryptique, I would have never think that sig-host is your site.

And I'll be sure to check out that site. Thanks!
