HI,
maybe this is out of place due to this forum being part of a hosting site, and therefor I may be giving the competitiors a helping hand...but then again, maybe it is just nice of me to let the mods, admin and general members aware of this site, so that they may become friendly with it... The site is : http://www.profusehost.com all the details of the host are on their main/features webpage, so don't hesitate to look...I have had a very good time with them, and there admin is very friendly and responds to emails quickly and almost always resolves any issues you may have had....take my example; hosting not working....get an email back within 5 hours telling me everything is fixed....and most importantly, it was... P.S. When signing up please put my username, 'melkonianarg' , into the referral box...i dont think i get any credit for this, it may just serve the admin to see who is helping him....etc...however, if this goes against trap17 TOS then just ignore....thankyou regards, melkonianarg |

It is a decent host but I would never use it because it has banners on the header and footer. I really don't see a point in using a host with ads. It just de-tracks visistors and makes your site look bad unless you add them and make them work with your site.
I personally think that trap17.com is way better though you do have to post for hosting. Trap also has smaller size space but most people don't need more than 150 mb of space. I barely use like 1/5 of the space on my host. Plus, you really don't have to post much to keep your hosting. Just a couple decent size posts per week will keep you going. xJedix |

I am staying here at Trap17. This is how I compare Trap17 to other hosts: some hosts are garbage, some hosts are like cheap cake they look good but they aren't, better hosts are like some good cake, but Trap17 is a chocholate bumpy cake because nothing can compare.

I tried to sing up for this service. I would just like to see how would the banners look like, because sometimes, they are small and you can hardly notice them, others they take almost half of the screen size with the banner. I'm waiting for the confermation email. it has been awhile now and I did not get anything yet form them.

sounds good and i have gone there to have a look.well,this a new site which work at offering free web hosting without request like forum post as a credit.but the site is too young to run steadily for long time?maybe not,hope it is a good website for us.thanks

I just checked out the site as well. Looks like a good package, except that it said that there would be banner ads for both the free and paid hosting accounts. I also don't see myself using 500 MB of web space - well, not for a personal site anyway. Nice try, but I'm sticking with Trap17.
