I love to write, and I use a lot of fonts when I write. I always check out new fonts at http://dafont.com, they have so many to choose from, and best of all, they're all free! It's a great site, no pop ups, NO VIRUSES! I used to use a different place to get fonts, but they had viruses . ..I had to delete them.

Free fonts are great. Good looking fonts can surely add a lot of flair to anyone's projects. In terms of websites that offer a wide range of fonts, my personal favourite is Acid Fonts

Yes I enjoy using different fonts and I have tried DaFont many times when looking for something in particular. I don't see why some people sell their fonts but who knows. I am going to have to try Acid Fonts as well it looks pretty cool. I prefer using pixel fonts though from the 04_ series when I make web sites.
Although for another list of fonts you can view it at a topic that has already been made here http://www.trap17.com/forums/free-fonts-t10216.html This post has been edited by Plenoptic: Jul 28 2006, 02:46 PM |

I get my fonts from cool fonts which has many many free fonts. They are sorted by genre like rough and 80's and even fonts that are almost impossible to read! But they have great fonts but rememeber to read the authors nots

Yes Plenoptic, that topic already was made as well as many other topics about free fonts, including my own topics, fulll of thousands of free fonts, and the links still work fine:
6500 free ttf fonts - trap17 topic http://www.trap17.com/forums/6500-free-ttf-fonts-t23333.html or 6500 free ttf fonts - home page http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free-fonts.html You can see the fonts and download at the same time, better then this is impossible! as far as I am concerned... yes I think, there is possibly some way to get ur site to auto-download into their fonts folder.
Acid font is awesome, 1 way that you can get them to see the font is to save the text as an image, it will work then.... thats the only way as far as i am concerned |
