Hello Friends!

if you are owning a personal website and think its boring to have the same old static content on your website

you can now make it more intresting by:

1) Making your site visitors sign a guest book and let them comment on your site

2) adding daily horoscope

3) by displaying up-to-date site on your own website page instead of redirecting them to other new website

4) And many more freebies to make your website a great comeback for your visitors

And here is the link for that freebie site

www.bravenet.com

If you already have account in this website then explain the advantages or disadvantages to other newcomers

why bother with bravenet when you have trap? the only thing is that you at least have to have some knowledge on web programming in order to create your own website, because i don't know if trap has a template that can be used by beginners... or are there some?

but then again, that's why we're here. most, if not everyone, people here are probably after the free webhosting. am i right, or am i right? and if i'm not mistaken most, again, if not everyone, people here knows how to create their own websites, may it be dynamic or static.

Ahh, stay away from bravenet! I had a bravenet account once, they plageud my page with ads, and sometimes when you refreshed there would be an error, so everytime you refresh a new ad at the top would pop up. At one point there were 4 ads at the top and it bumped the page down so far, that's when I decided I had to leave bravenet for the best.

But it has a happy ending cuz then... I found trap17 biggrin.gif!

you're talking about their web hosting services. the original post was talking about services for webmasters that are hosted elsewhere. bravenet has a lot of good basic services in my opinion. i've used them before and had no problems. i can't speak of their web hosting account though.

Yeah, I used to be with bravenet, I didn't like the ads at all, and it wasn't really professional in my point of view tongue.gif quite cheap looking to be honest and also, you can just get a guestbook from Hotscripts.com because there is better guest books than Bravenets tongue.gif

Also, they dont have cPanel and Fantastico, so I wouldnt choose them tongue.gif, I would choose Trap17 out of them, and probaly everyone else would too!

But Bravenet is free and Trap17 requires posting (post to get credits) and there is two different packages to suit your needs wink.gif

NOT TRUE. trap17.net has 100% free hosting for those who don't want to post but doesn't mind ads added to their website. cehck it out if ya don't like to post for credits
