deos anyone know a good, fast, free chat script that i could put in my website. one with out advertisements. one with no strings attached. everyone these days are trying to make money off every type of script. only if all scripts were open source. the world would be a much better place.

In your cpanel there is phpMyChat which is great, and you can get it free on the internet.

I think it would be complex. Chat files require a lot of PHP to handle several people talking as well as several command files and the files to get the commands. I could be wrong, because I don't know much about PHP. But I know that PHP does require quite a few files for most applications. and I think this would be taht case. A simple script probably wouldn't work.

well, one i have is free, no ads, its called X7 Chat, not to difficult to install...you just need to upload everything to the server, make a My SQL Database, and then simply go to the directory you uploaded the chat to and install it..if you do use this if you have any issues feel free to PM me for help >_<

Man there are many chat scripts available on the internet... try google search..
 If u want a already built live chat rooms or such thing like that try bravenet.com If u want to look, how bravenet chat toom looks visit my website i.e keshavonline.com  or else u can use PHp chat script available in ur cpanel, as told by other members. |

there is also one called shoutmix, i believe its free with no ads.. you will have to goggle it tho.
