Simply sign up for a member at http://www.otakulive.com and post 3 times a day and you're able to download exciting anime series like naruto, full metal achemist, bleach, and so on... Its also a very good forum and I'm the moderator there...

It depends on where the server is hosted, and where you are located, I believe. I see some series that has already been licensed in the U.S. on that site...quite a few, actually... If the anime has not been licensed in your area, then its fine.

Some of the series on that website are licensed. My countries laws are a lot simular to that of the U.S. Also whether the shows are licensed or not I believe it's still illegal to download the series because someone does hold copyright to those series and to distribute with out permission is illegal.
I'm not trying to start an argument, it can be a lot different in your countries as 'Phyre' had stated before. My countries laws are a lot strict when it comes to copyright material. hmmm, the server should be hosted on Singapore but I'm not that sure, however, there's so many ppl downloading the series already so there should be much of a problems..
They dont earn anything, they place their ads there but ppl rarely clicks on them, and apparently little has donated and sign up for the premium account and making ppl post it to prevent leechers as the download system is provided for ppl that are active on the forum... Any other questions you may ask at the forum, I'm sure others will be glad to answer it... Just a random question, but what format are the downloads in? Are they Video_TS folders, .avi's, .ogm's or is it a mix of all different formats? I would just like to know so I can figure out how to work out diskspace on the comp, running low, prob have to download and put it on a DVD to free up space.

I believe most of them are in .avi format, but there are some in others I supposed, perhaps you can get more information from the forum itself, I rarely download animes...
