Hello,
i'm wanting to start making my own forum software but i dont know where to start or what i need to know in order to do this. I know i will need php and mysql but what else, and could some one point me to a good site were i could learn php and mysql. Thanks |

If you are good with PHP, I will recommend not to waste further time and start directly on a PHPBB Forum. Get deep inside the structure, study its hierarchy and customize it with your own codes. Building a forum right from scratch for a single person is going to take a lot of time.

i kinda new that it would take a long time so i have started getting some of my friends together to help me, right now we have about 5 people all together. if you would be instred in helping pm me.
