Firstly I want to tell you that the supporting forum for this forum (phpBB) component made by Adam is in tim-online.nl and you could get whatever support you want. I also agree that some members in trap seventeen also can help you but the official support is always best.
Yes, you can have own template for this com_forum component. The best way to implement this is to create a new template for mambo itself apart from the template you are using for your homepage and other pages. YOu can assign the forum template from admin backend page. The new template you are going to create can be matched with the phpBB template you are going to use. Otherwise what you can do is to install this component to open in a new browser not sharing the same template of the mambo site itself. note: When I say mambo (it is upto version 4.5.3.1) any joomla versions will be compatible with this forum component. |

It doesn't work! When I am trying to install a template, and choice t from the configuration menu, the images don't appear on my forum page, what shull I do now?
It is just, white and orange (the background and the text) no images appear! |
