Are you saving them into your "fonts" folder? Your new fonts should automatically appear on your lists of fonts in those programs.

You should add the new font into your font folder. this folder can be fount under control panel... you open the folder and paste the new font inside...

after you done pasting your new font... restart your computer if needed to register them....

just try it and you will see them the next time you open your word or other programs...smile.gif

hope this will help you...

Just something to add... Not everyone knows where their font folder is. Your font folder is located at c:/windows/fonts

First go to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
Then, go to File -> Install New Font...
Navigate to the folder where you saved the font
Select the fonts to install and click OK
Restart the application you want to use them in

But remember, if you're going to use your new fonts in FrontPage for a website, most people probably won't have them and so they'll just get a generic font.

Also, Start -> Control Panel -> Fonts will work if you have Windows XP. If you have an older version of Windows, then there might be a step before "Control Panel."

After that, follow beeseven's steps 2 thru 4.

Yes, actually you can used that fonts in all windows applications, if you have the files already in your computer just follow the steps below to add fonts to your computer.

1. Open your control panel
2. Click on the Fonts Folder, there you can see many fonts already exist, these fonts was included in the operating system, it installed together with the operating system. These are you default fonts availabe in your computer.
4. Under the font folder click on the file menu and click the import new font. locate the folder wherein your new font was located and click ok all the way down... if you notice there are progress bar which indicates that the font was added into your PC.

Or you can simply copy the new font and go to the font folder and paste there.. just simple as abc...

it is recommended to restart your computer to properly installed the new font...smile.gif

What do you think???

..or you could just open the font folder and open the folder where your downloaded font is and click and drop it in there or copy it into there.. instead of locating the folder..
