lol, another one liner...
depending on what game your tryin to make, (rpg or fps) u can get licenses to use different engines, the best fps rite now would probably be unreal 3 (yes u3 not 2, its coming out soon). i dont really know anything about rpg engines so i cant help u. |

unreal is an fps, so it won't work for every game but you should probably look on google or specify the type of engine you need.

Ya I know Unreal Tournament 2003 had a program with it, it was for making maps, but i think I remember hearing you could mod UT with it too.
I know for a fact that Unreal is the basis of alot of ftp's. Being a HUGE fan of Unreal Tournament, I'm going to look into it. I'm sad to say that I dont have UT2004 cuz my comp sucks. Anyone played it? How is it?! |

The map editor has nothing to do with the game's engine.
The engine is basically the core of the game. You don't 'see' or 'use' it, as such. |
