I see on the main page the 2 different packages and i would like to get one but first i want to know what is the file size limit? I searched the forums for a topic that discussed this but i didn't find one.

Package 1
Space 20 mb
Bandwidth 500 mb
Forum Credits Required 10

Package 2
Space 150 mb
Bandwidth 5000 mb
Forum Credits Required 30

Would the file size limit be the space so package 1 = file size limit 20 mb? and package 2 = file size limit 150 mb?

I'm not sure what your explination is saying at the bottom so I'll just give you mine. Lets say your uploading an image on Imageshack or something. You are only allowed to upload an image that is 1mb. The 1mb is the file size limit. The amount of total space you can use. I hope this helps!

i don't believe there's any filesize limit. there IS a limit on the total webspace, which seems that if you get near to your limit it thinks you've gone over your allotted amount, but other than that, the only limitation is in the type of files uploaded

The file size limit is dependant upon the amount of space you've been allotted with your current hosting package. So, if you have Package #2 [which gives you 150 mb space], then the file size limit is also 150 mb, because you wouldn't be able to upload and store a file larger than your space size. So yes, there is a limit, but it's a "natural limit" as I call it. I hope you understand.

ok thanks so now i know that there are probably no file size limits, but styx brought up another question of mine, he said "the only limitation is in the type of files uploaded." So now my question is What files are not allowed? cause i want to make a site and i have a movie i want to put on it its in .wmv will that be any problem?

There is no file size limit. However, you cannot upload files greater than 20 megabytes if you have package one, and you cannot upload files greater than 150 megabytes if you have package 2, so essentially, the file size limits are 20 MB and 150 MB for packages 1 and 2, respectively.

There are also no restrictions on file types as long as what you're uploading abides to trap17's Terms of Service. That means that you cannot upload porn or warez. However, if you get paid webhosting by Xisto, then you can upload porn. Warez are illegal on both paid and free hosting.

Hope that answered your questions!

Edit: Fixed typo
