I would say that I use it only for patches or for game demos because I can reliably get them through there rather than going to the site and having to go to fileplanet or some stuff like that where I don't have a membership.

i use it for anti virus software and stuff. i will usually download the trial at download.com then get a crack for it. i find download.com has a good selection of alot of recent stuff, useful patches and demos but as well has good speed for its downloads. the only thing i really dislike is the tons of adds... but i live with it.

i almost never visit download.com, even if i linked to download.com, i will close the window, if i want to search freebies software, i will search it on google and try to find any link toward personal homepage, it is usually offering free stuff.

I like download.com. I use it quite often when I need some program, either demo version or full version. it has been very useful to me.

is c-net and download .com the same? i think they are...but yeah i used it a couple times for games like starcraft and stuff....i have c-net secure delivery too
