Hi,
I bought a couple of domain names in godaddy, but i did not buy any email accounts. I would like to have an email account like this: info@mydomainname.com Is there any way i could redirect that email name to one of my email accounts or do i need to buy them to godaddy. Thanks in advanced for your feedback. PD. Sorry that i post this topic here but i did not find an appropiate forum. |

It all depends on the server that domain name is pointing to. If the server supports something like fantastico you can configure your own email accounts for pretty much anything. I have a domain, and I have it setup to point at my trap17 account. And from the control panel I've setup a bunch of email addresses that are redirected to existing accounts all over the place.

yes, if you have a trap17 account you only need to point your domain's dns to NS1.TRAP17.COM and NS2.TRAP17.COM go to your control panel, park your domains, wait.... till it propagates and then just in the same ol' good control panel add email account it will automatically activate an option to make a @youname.trap17.com email address or a @yourparkeddomain.com address, that simply ^o^ or if you want to use your @yourdomain.com address to redirect all mail sent there, to your @hotmail/yahoo/gmail/etc.com just use the forwarding option! is very simple and easy =)

Well if your domain supports DNS you can point it to trap17's name server:
ns1.trap17.com, Then you add your domain name in the Parked domain section which is in your cpanel. And wait for Two Days and wolla, when you go to that domain to redirects it to your site, then you go to the mail accounts section in your cpanel, then your create your mail account. Job Done. Problem Solved. |
