I dont know if there are already topics like that but i wanted to know if there is any other site like Trap17 , who offer DOMAIN names by the postings? I know about hostbidder.com but you need so many points to get the domani name for one year.i want to know is theer any other site which need reasonable points for the domain names.

hm i like this site pretty much. they give you 10 points for a post with a decent amount of content. thanks for showing me this. ive been looking for a domain. anyways im gonna try and get the 950 they want.

I couldn't say I've heard of any.
There are a lot of sites that give free domains though, such as http://uni.cc There are some more, just go look under the "Freebie" Section, you'll find some. |

There is one such - it is nova-xacto.com. They have around 500 members already. Earlier they also gave away free hosting but they stopped and switched to get domain by posting some specific numbers of posts. And I also came to know that they have tied up with some other hosting... if the URL may not be exactly nova-xacto.com, you can search google and find out.... the forum of the site is divided into Nova-xacto and the other partner.

I´ve looking for free domain, but i only find sites like you mention (uni.cc) that no offer free domains, they offer "Domain redirection service" that is different. The idea with domain is can you host your site in a decent server (with php, mysql, ssl, perl, etc) but if you have a domain redirection you can not do that. |

Well, real web talk give out free domain names. You need 150 credits to get one. I can strongly recommend them as I have have received my domain name, iambored.info, with them.
