URL redirection in cPanel is only for your domain. It does not direct traffic from other domains to your site. Think about what the internet would be if that the way it worked.
Instead, go to Domain Parking (or something with a similar name) in your cPanel. Enter in your cjb.net domain name. Now, go to your cjb.net control panel, and enter in ns1.trap17.com for the DNS server. Then, you're all set! Good luck, and if you need anything more help, feel free to PM me. |

I had a cjb account before and I think it works by entering your site (your real address/url ) and cjb.net cloaks your real address and replaces it with any domain name you like.
For example my trap17 url is http://leiaah.trap17.com and I want to cloak it to http://popculturejunkie.cjb.net using cjb, all I do is enter my site url in cjb.net and provide the domain name I like, in this case popculturejunkie. Hope this helps! |

aah my days of using the infamous cjb account i did that for awhile but after the computer program that the site was base off of went down i stopped using it.
but leiaah is right about setting up the cjb, now using the server as part of the redirection, thats the first i heard of that, i don't think you have to go that far unless i missing the point of the question, its sounds like you want the cjb account cloaking your trap account but by using the cpanel as a way to do it, hmm that is interesting might have to ponder that in the future. and to respond about what the internet would be like false websites urls like www.algebraiscool.cjb.net which is leading into naughty websites. |

QUOTE(leiaah @ Jul 19 2005, 01:14 AM) I had a cjb account before and I think it works by entering your site (your real address/url ) and cjb.net cloaks your real address and replaces it with any domain name you like. Cloaking uses a frame, no one like that. You can also use your cjb.net subdomain as a domain, so that popculturejunkie.cjb.net/images leads to leiaah.trap17.com/images/, too. *refers to my first post in this thread*For example my trap17 url is http://leiaah.trap17.com and I want to cloak it to http://popculturejunkie.cjb.net using cjb, all I do is enter my site url in cjb.net and provide the domain name I like, in this case popculturejunkie. Hope this helps! QUOTE(Saint_Michael @ Jul 19 2005, 01:31 AM) Actually, you can. Read my first post in this thread. |
