hi, i'm trying to get some help with a mysql data base...
when i enter the following into the query it errors out.. tell me to contact an admin to find out what wrong, i wrote them an email and wrote out a trouble ticket, but not help yet. i think it might have something to do with the "mode" the sql server is running on. any idea on how to change that or if i can? LOCK TABLES `Classes` WRITE; INSERT INTO `Classes` VALUES ('Druid'),('Hunter'),('Mage'),('Paladin'),('Priest'),('Rogue'),('Shaman'),('Warlock'),('Warrior'); UNLOCK TABLES; This post has been edited by BuffaloHELP: Jan 31 2006, 10:10 AM |

Please name your title carefully and take it seriously.
You have not specified which account you were referring to. In the future list the account you have with us. Had I not checked the support ticket your question would have gone without notice. You are referring to Trap17.net. The list of commands that are available are defined here http://www.trap17.net/info.php If it's not listed, it will not work. That is one of the main differences between Trap17 dot NET and Trap17 dot COM. |

As far as I know, Trap17 dot NET's account is very limited and is intended for simple web pages and scripts. You may break it down your entries one at a time using do loops. However, a single command line (again, as far as I know) cannot be accomplished.
