Where Could I Get A Free Forum

I wondering...is there some place where I could get a free forum with no ads and has the cash mod, shop mod, and stuff like thaT? I've been searching forever for on but I never found one!

I am not aware of any service that provides the mods you want, and will also host the forum for you. However, you are hosted at Trap17, so you can use your own hosting account and upload a forum of your choice, install all the mods you like, and without any ads.

If you don't want to spend the time installing all the mods, then there is a pre-modded version of phpBB called phpBB Fully Modded that has loads of the most popular mods already installed. All you need to do is upload it and click through a few installation pages.

I know invisionfree has a boatload of codes to set up mods and junk, and I do believe they have those mods but you will just have to look around and find them. Since they have a few thousand topics to various mods in code form.

You can download phpBB and host it here. I personally don't lie phpBB due to its issues with spam control but it's the only forum I've seen with an actual cash mod - the only feature I'd ever use the board for.

It sounds like you are looking for a remotely hosted forum that has all of these features. Unfortunately, I don't think this is the best way to go. Although some remotely hosted forums have no ads and some modifications, they probably won't have every single modification that you could ever want. It looks like you are hosted, so why don't you just host your own forum on your Trap17 account. Installing your own modifications is actually quite easy. You can simply copy and paste all of the file edits. Also, I have used quite a few of those remotely hosted forums, and I have installed my own forum. Installing your own forum gives you so much more flexibility. You can install any style or mod you want at any time. You also have the ability to convert to different forum software if your current forum no longer suites your needs.

I don't know how "legal" this is however i found a forum host thats ad free and has vBulletin Feel to it at ***edit***

you are in trap17 and you are asking to get a free hosting? just activate your hosting and log on to your control panal. click on fantastico de luxe and setup a phpbb or smf forum for yourself. thats real easy job to do. before you install your forum, dont forget to create a mysql database for your forum. you can setup your mysql database using mysql wizard. its real easy, just click on mysql wizard and create a database by giving your username and password. when you are done, you are all setup. now right after you create your forum open the file manager and upload the plugins and themes at plugin and themes folder of your forum which you can find on www folder.

that phpbb fully modde dis ok but i prefer IPB alot of good control but ya need a web host that has SQL sever safe mode off i was told here at 17 its off or my posting will be a waste of time i wish they had a fully modded SMF that isnt to bad but phpbb doesnt have a regular shoutbox like most forums
