hey Somebody has told me the other day that people could still find out where you live even if you don't have the internet. I don't know how this is possible. Does anybody know if this is true or not.

Believe it or not, there were still addresses, phone books, and information (phone number 411) before the internet existed. Though it may have been slightly (just slightly) harder to find someone, it could still be done. And that's also assuming the tracker doesn't have internet access. You can find just about anyone on Google (or an engine specifically for locations) - irregardless of whether they have the internet or not.

LOL.

People can find where you live if you are LISTED in the phone book even if you don't have internet. People can also track down location of the phone when you call someone.

This is very much possible. not because you are not connected to the internet people cannot trace your where abouts. There is a big posibility that you have a school, Social Security, insurance etc identification, this records could be use by the authority to know your residence. A transaction using you credit card to a store, both online and non-online, can show your place of transactions. Even just using a public pay-phone can be traced. If you have been watching "CSI," "Alias," and "24," you probably know what I am talking about. The FBI, CIA and CTU have the technology to know your identifications and transactions. SCARY!

hI ALL,
Just buy something with a credit card & your name ..address..item purchased.....etc. all goes into a "secure" database. These databases are hacked or invaded by employees..etc. all the time. Anyone with enough interest/motivation....time.. or money can find you if you have any credit financial transactions

First thing: NO ONE CAN TRACK YOU COMPUTER IF IT NEVER HAVE CONNECTED TO INTERNET.

Second thing: Evryone can track you if you dont have a secret adress, phone.

Third thing: Only the police can track your phone if you do have a secret adress, phone.

so the answer is NO. Hope you understand!

Reply to:

First thing: THEY CAN! COMPUTERS HAVE SERIAL NUMBERS AND PRINTERS LEAVE INVISIBLE WATERMARKS!

Third thing: Not only the police can track your phone if you do have a secret adress, phone.Organized crime groups use the latest technology and some have the same equipment as the police forces.
