i have a problem in converting audio files that work on real player into mp3 what piece of software that i may use to do this if possible

I use Nero wave editor to convert between audio formats.
I am not sure whether nero can also convert real audio files. :? |

i use cool edit 2000, which i believe has been bought by adobe and had its name changed. but you should still be able to google it
