Hi im new to this hostin thing. i want to try to upload songs and videos from my comp too make it to an url. can i do tat here?

As long as they are legally owned by you or have written permission to be used by you. The content has to be fitted with TRAP 17's TOS (terms of service) and it is found under this post (my signature). And also consider that there is a bandwidth usage limit per month.

Yes, as long as the song is legal and you have enough disk storage for it... of course, you have to give your friend the permission and vice-versa...
