Hey bloggers, can I ask you one question?

Do you use www.feedburner.com? They are giving many good options for our RSS feeds.

For example you can see my signarute as Headline Animator of my blog smile.gif Still may more activities there. Nut many advanced web admins may feel boring of thaose things. Anyhow there is nothing in visiting that site. It is quite interesting.

Nah. I don't burn feeds. It's just the hassle of downloading an application that will do that, and following my stories. If I'm borderd, then I'll go to the website and check out the news myself.

Having the feed buttons on your site definitely helps though because if you have original content, and some technically savvy person visits your site, they'll burn your feeds, and you'll start getting more visitors.

sorry but what does feed burning mean. I know what feeds are but not sure what exactly you mean when you use the word burn. To me feeds can me a waste of them because we go to the website for the real content and not all the other cheesy stuff. But then again, if its a blog or a community website where people spend some time surfing around then I think the feeds will be helpful. Personally, those are the times when I read feeds. By the way, do feeds use up a lot of precious bandwidth?

It's a neat idea, but I personally wouldn't include it on my site. For me, I don't think it's necessary for a personal site. If I had a website for an organization, then it would be worth getting.

If you use wordpress, you automatically get feeds, so all you'd need to do then is just feed it to feedburner.com, and it'll take care of the rest.

You can read more about feed burning here: http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/about;jsess...ABF1765429.app1

No, feeds don't use significant bandwidth since they're usually in the form of a small .xml file which is around 1 KB - 2KB.

I believe RSS feeds are similar to feed burning.
